Damn sexy vampire vigilantés. He's either just taking flight for his night's rounds, or he's about to swoop down on some poor, unsuspecting witch! (Holy-Water super-soakers, Darkwing, it could be Morgana! - LOL! Sorry, I couldn't resist.)


Anyhoo, so, here is my part of the Secret Santa gift art gig on #OCs-of-Darkwing-Duck I got ~AnarchicQ and her vampire bat/flying fox OC, Vincent Batsbane.

Hope he looks okay. I didn't have a lot of references, so I wasn't sure what kinda clothing he usually wears (gave him really dark blue pants, but they came out looking black after I finished up the colouring and effects), nore how his wings actually are supposed to attach - and d'oh! I forgot his 'mask' (I'll have to fix that later).

For his wings, I went with, well, a more realistic bat style, rather than cartoony-gargoyle/dragon/whatever style. Hope that wasn't too far off from what you actually have in mind for Vince's appearance.


Lastly, I have to say I had a lot of fun drawing this - I LOVE bats... And sexy, shirtless vampire bat-men!

This is pretty awesome all around, but I must say that my favorite part is the angle from which you drew the character. It really gives him a more intimidating look :)

Thaaank you very much. I have to say I'm quite proud of this. When I was doing the moon, mist and such, I wasn't sure it'd work. I'm glad it did.

I saw that, about the wings, but I still like the Man-Bat ones regardless. Not necessarily more than his actual design, just in a geeky "Hey! Man-Bat!" way. ;)
